Piano Lessons for Students From 6 to 86

I teach children and adults of all levels. Some adult students desire a classical music study, but most of my adult students prefer contemporary music of their choice.

Children, on the other hand, usually don't have a preference before the age of 10 or older. The parent's desires are always my first consideration, but I try to accomodate the older student's wishes as well, and often shift from more classically based lessons to those that the student finds more interesting, such as pop or jazz. I strive to keep piano lessons fun, stimulating and challenging for all students, and especially for older ones who often lose interest in more traditional lessons.
