Fun Stuff: Games,
Videos, and Really Cool Stuff
Hi, Students and Parents! Glad you stopped by.
Check out some of the neat things I've found. There are games to
play online (sorry, you may learn something!), videos to watch, software you might want
to try, and anything else I might find. Also, let me know if you find anything online
that you think I should include.
I've checked the pages and they should be safe to
visit.

Player |
A note recognition game. Parents, this game is fun but there are a lot
of other games available to play on this site. I suggest you supervise your child.
I think they are all clean games, but could be a distraction. |

A fun online game. Identify the notes
correctly to help Mighty Music Man deliver the piano! This is a game on Music Tech
Teacher. |
| Listen to the Rhythms Game |
Here's a fun rhythm game. A drum will
tap a rhythm and you must decide if it matches the sheet music. This is a game on
Music Tech Teacher. |
| Finale Notepad 2007 |
Here is a free version of Finale Notepad. If you
want to write the notes to a song you have made up, then you can use this program
to put the notes on the staff.
Ask Mom or Dad for their permission and their help
to download this program.

is on YouTube and there are several more videos on YouTube of her
playing. She's great! |

Bet you didn't know that Chopsticks was
originally composed in 1877 by a 16 year old girl name Euphemia Allen. She used the
pseudonym (fake name) of Arthur de Lulli, probably because, back then, girls and
women weren't expected to write books or music, and probably no one would have
taken her seriously. I found this out on Trivia-Library.com. Here's a video on
YouTube of someone playing chopsticks. There are a lot of videos of chopstick
players. |
